Deliverance Out
God hears the cry of His covenant household, raises a deliverer, breaks the gods of Egypt, and brings the people through the sea to Himself.
Macro position
The Pentateuch shifts from family to nation. The God of the patriarchs becomes the God of an exodus. Every later deliverance — return from exile, salvation in Christ, second coming — borrows this pattern.
Christward Trajectory
The Passover lamb is Christ (1 Cor 5:7). The Red Sea crossing is the pattern of baptism (1 Cor 10:1–2). The bread from heaven is the body broken for many.
